Indonesian government will effectively raise the fuel price by June 1st.. Wave of protests are coming from student and other communal institutions in the whole country.. This picture was took on May 21st when the student of Mulawarman University succeeded to confirm the governor of East-Borneo to send an official protest note to Jakarta.. It said that "Government of East-Borneo refuses Fuel Price Raise and work together with the student and the people of East-Borneo to make a better living".. That note directly faxed to Jakarta after the protest action..
Not only in East-Borneo, in the same day several actions also took place in more than 10 provinces in Indonesia..

dragono, I like this story. Seems like fuel prices are truly a global issue. Do you think the protests will encourage the government to change its position?
