FURIOUS WAR VETERANS BLAST 'VILE' ISLAMIC EXTREMISTS
Mr. Clitheroe is right. This form of abuse has to stop. But it's good to know that this incident has united the British public. I wonder if these anti-protestors are allowed to hurl abuses at the military troops during a parade in the countries that the demonstrators were from.
Shameful anti-war protesters denounced 200 members the 2nd Batallion The Royal Anglian Regiment as "Baby Killers" and "Butchers of Basra" during last week's march in Luton.
Ex-paratrooper Mr Clitheroe, blasted: "If any other person had come out with the abuse they did they did they would have been arrested.
"People of many religions have fought to make Britain what it is today and I find it disgusting that these fanatics want to live in our country yet treat our brave troops in such a vile way. If they won't live by our laws then they should leave.
Maybe the Western leaders should remember Theodore Roosevelts views on being an American and consider following it so that such incidents as the one that happened in Luton and similar incidents which have happened in other Western countries is not repeated again.
Theodore Roosevelt on Immigrants and being an AMERICAN
"In the first place we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the man's becoming in very fact an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag, and this excludes the red flag, which symbolizes all wars against liberty and civilization, just as much as it excludes any foreign flag of a nation to which we are hostile...We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language...and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."
