Children... are they not supposed to be the future of a country?  Are they not supposed to be well taken care of... educated... fed... clothed?  How can they be neglected like this?

These are the children we love.  The beauty in their eyes... the smiles on their faces warm our hearts.

These are the neglected young children of the Philippines... the supposed future... do you see a bright future for them?

We at Photo Kalye, a group of young, aspiring photographers are committed and dedicated to document and help these lovely kids in our own little way.  We are trying to make their lives a little better... a humongous task, but someone has to do it.  Through our images, we are reaching out to the people who are supposed to be doing what we are trying to achieve... to open their tightly shut eyes to the reality of what they refuse to see... we are reaching out to people who can help us help these kids...  to give them what they rightfully deserve... a better future... do you see it?

Yes, they are.  But it is the reality, just the same.  Thank you for your comment, ma'am.

I think it may be the future of our World should we fail to implement drastic changes now and start to co-operate internationally on all issues. Especially the Environmental once.
