G. W. Bush, Will stay and He will suspend Constitution, Declare State of emergency and remain in Power. Opinion!!

Now that President G. W. Bush has meet with leader around the world, officially for his last tour, yet still trying to find Money and allies to attack yet another country, Iran that is!
Mister Bush may find inspiration with Mister Mugabe and if he is fortunate even Al-Quaida will come to give him a helping hand in convincing the American people that he needs to stay in power and in order to do so has to suspend the Constitution, declare Marshal Law and Invade Iran.
All this of course to protect America from the axle of Evil and to bring peace to the World.
Obama and Mc Cain may have to wait for another decade or so to complete their campaign, until then they may be given a job in terror prevention with a great compensation package of course to keep them in line!
Unlikely? Well, maybe so and yet not really either. Remember 1933!?
It did actually happened exactly like that in the Weimar Republic! The Minority Government of the NSDAP (Nazi) suspended the Constitution, and much more to protect the good People from Terrorist attacks, back then it was Communist and Polish Terrorist and soon after the invation of Poland! It was the beginning of the Second World War!
Believe it or not Germany was a Democracy just as the USA are today before the NSDAP (Nazi) legally I may add, suspended the Constitution and well we all know what happened afterwards.
How they did it was pretty much the same scenario than today in the USA, Fear, Misinformation and Great propaganda, in 1933 by the NSDAP (Nazi)! As Today by the Bush administration!!
Most, back in 1933 believed them, as most American like to believe their Government as well. Back in 1933 those that did not believe where quickly silenced as they are today in the USA. Treated as anti American or enemies or even sympathiser of the so called Terrorist! Back then they where called anti German of course!
Back then as today the World stood silence as well, out of fear and out of neglect as it does today, until it was to late!
Soon the Opposing may no longer be simply called anti American but end up in Concentration Camps as did all the Socialist, Communist, Journalist, Intellectuals, Artist and so on and of Course the Jews as well!
Today though, we will not persecute the Jews but the Moslems instead and all the other anti Americans of course as well!
My advice, watsh out and make sure it wound happen again! Remember History for it tell us what may happen if we are not careful and vigilant! Germany already had its era of Madness, so did Spain, Russia and Italy, well The Italien may not have learned much though since they just put Berlusconi back in power! The USA on the other hand, may just have entered their era of madness and are to preoccupied to see it and to paralysed by fear, in order to be objective and to see the danger!
Am I wrong? I certainly hope so! Still I fear I may end up being right if America does not wake up very soon! At least I am worried, especially with Bush his ambition to invade Iran and he is crazy enough to actually do it!

Paschen, Well it is a common fear & has been for a while here in the U.S. that Bush would create or something else would happen enabling Bush and or Cheney would be able to call for marshal law as a result. This would stop the elections in November and place the nation in a stall for any further elections until marshal law is retracted (reversed). America (most) have no clue that this restriction of the election can happen if marshal law is called. Yes 1933 is the rise of Hitler & another on Hitler's rise to power here.
I agree in your "opinion" regarding their next step to remain in power here in the U.S. oh I really need to be careful cause I maybe called Anti-American or pro-life if we do not go into Iran.
I just wonder when they will start or finish this with Iran. The U.S. already has to sides to attack Iran from - Iraq and Afghanistan.

Thank you everchanging for the flag, I do appreciate it! Well some will probably call me Anti American as well since if you are against Bush you are automatically Anti American as far as I was told some time ago as the Iraq war started and I was not supportive of it!

The leader of a democracy at war has an almost impossible job balancing the national security with personal liberties. President Bush has done a remarkable job of this - much bettter than Madison, Lincoln, Roosevelt or Nixon. I know left-wing loons and juveniles will not listen to this, but come January, 2009, the office will be transferred peacefully to the new president as has happened every time in our history.
I should also point out that the Exceutive Order signed by President Bush on FISA related matters was identical to Executive Orders signed by both President Carter and President Clinton, who were not wartime presidents, although they had to confront (and did unsuccessfully) Islamic terrorism.

Maybe so, nevertheless this War was never sanctioned by the UNO members nor any other International Organisation! It is by facto an aggression on the Part of the USA Government against International institutions and Laws, that especially a Democratic Country such as the USA, Great Briton and Italy need to and have to respect! The term Islamic Terrorism is a very dangerous one to use! Al-Quaida would be more appropriate! Remember though that the so called Terrorist have been trained, Financed and Armed as well as supported and protected by the USA for decades in order to fight the then Soviets and eliminate so called unfriendliest of the USA! That this would eventually turn and back fire was well forceable and the USA where warned on numerous occasions by European Countries and Asian Countries that they where playing with Fire and creating a bush fire that would go out of control. Now America is all surprised and wonders why! It may be time to clean House and face the facts of American Politics since the second World War! It is Pathetic at best. In defence of the USA, the British are not much better though and I talking about Governments and Politics not about People in general! Germany, France and Spain had to deal with Terrorist Groups for decades now such as the RAF, FLN, and the MLB, causing far greater damage then Al-Quaida did, still they never went to war against any one because of it. Terrorism can not be doubt with Wars all around the World. Remember Timothy Mc way I believe his name was! He was certainly not a Moslem but a real American National!

Folks say the same thing about each president in his last few months in office. The same stories were out just before Clinton left office. Republican's didn't have relief until that moving truck was parked in front of the White house.

Maybe so, However the danger is real as it was in 1933 in Germany. Why Germany changed its Constitution and the division of power so that o individual could ever have all or to many powers! The President of the USA has almost Godly powers and why the fear exist and why the danger is real! A similar problem exist in France where the President is way to power full and why the E.U. would like France to change that, since it is a legitimate concern and a real danger, Looking at Human History this did happen more than just once, it may be timewe learned from it! Democracy is a very fragile system even though it may be the best Political system we have had so far, the American democracy is far away from being a real Democracy, the powers are to concentrated with One single Person, that posses a real danger and should not be underestimated!

Exactly. The danger to America and the Free West is as great as it was in 1933. Thankfully we have not just been ignoring it as we did then. Be grateful measures you attempt to undermine have potentially saved your life already. Your propaganda needs to be called out and named.

A. Aside from the fact the the U.S. was enforcing a U.N. mandate, no country needs the permission from any international body to take steps to protect itself.
B. Al Qaeda is only one of many Islamic Terrorist groups.
C. As of today, there have been 11,355 muderous terrorist attacks by Muslims just since 9/11, according to a group that keeps tabs, TheReligionof Peace.com. Virtually every terrorist attack carried out in the world today is by Muslims.

ABC! Reminds me of our Military manual as I did my Service! Atomic, Bacteriological, Chemical, War fair!!
It sound as you never actually seen combat, nor Woman, Children, Old people and Soldiers being slotered, miss treated, even rapped or brutalised, screaming in fear and terror! War has never been a solution! It is like bullying nothing more!
Why I left and changed my mind and became a pacifist even embraced Buddhism to some extent!
Remember this and try to think about it! Voltaire defind it very well some 4 centuries ago! "The freedom of the one starts where the freedom of the other ends. and the freedom of the other does start where the freedom of the one ends!"
I would add to that in order to make it more visual since a picture is worth a 1000 words! " Freedom is a razor thin blade on wish we have to balance in order to be just to all Humans on Earth!"

I wanted to add something else to this, which I did not comment on before. I am not that fearful or paranoid. I do, however, think we need to be wary and mindful of what people do. People do have agendas that are not always evident at first.
Sometimes the scariest people in the world come from right here in the USA. There are some crazies on both sides of the aisle, and people who do not fit into either party, just plain nuts. Some of the crazies are declaring holy wars on Hollywood as we speak. They are trying to declare war on Iraq, Iran, Russia, and Muslims. That is the scariest to me. This tells me that these people are unstable, and a fringe element. Perhaps these people need to fight the battles within themselves and leave the rest of us out of it. That is where the real conflict lies.

The video you put up here, ids filed with misleading information. The beginning is rather good and leads people into truest since it is based on symbols we all know and who's origin most of us know. Yet as it goes un it is clearly a propaganda piece using some facts and then misleading with paranoid propaganda based on Nationalism and creationism.

There has never been any fear of martial law here. Only trouble making liars all over the deranged blogs pretending to be authentically terrified of that and concentration camps and more crazy b.s. It is just an attempt to try to undermine the credibility of America to the rest of the world and potential "useful idiots" within. It is a nasty trick and is what all insurgencies and anti-democratic ideologies begin with. I think Paschen meant Martial Law: as in (Wikipedia) "Martial law is the system of rules that takes effect when the military takes control of the normal administration of justice."
