A senior aid to the Libyan regime has visited Britain in recent days for talks with officials. Mohammed Ismail who is an aid to Col. Gaddafi's son Saif al-Islam was told that Gaddafi has to live office. While the British foreign office would not comment on contacts with Libyan officials but said that in any contact they do have, they make it clear that Gaddafi has to go. It seems that the envoy may want to explore any possible exit strategy for the Libyan Leader but the foreign office insists their policy is to encourage all those around him to abandon what they call a brutal regime and embrace a brighter future for Libya.
