Gandhi family member is accused

A grandson of the late Indian PM, Indira Gandhi, has been charged with inciting hatred against Muslims during a recent election campaign rally.

Varun Gandhi is alleged to have made the inflammatory remarks while campaigning as a candidate of the Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party.

well this is no surprise.. atleast India and Pakistani Politics has few things in common.. poltics on the bases of hate.
I am sure all the major parties will ensure that the concerns of over a 100 million Muslims will be adressed

if it is to do with shock politics or get the support of rith wing fundamentalist Hindus then might be foolish.

Indians are far more mature when it comes to nationalism and their democratic pride.. he might get a slap on the wrist and that would be the end of it.. good part is that he chose to deny the alligations..

it wouldnt have helped BJP had he chosen to repeat his hatred for Muslims in public appearences..
