Did a high school principal cancel a Cosmetology (hair cutting) class because he thought a student was gay? Well, a teacher says Principal Thomas Amons of Beaumont Independent School District’s Taylor Career and Technology Center in Texas for adults, did just that. The fact is, gay males are probably overrepresented in that profession, compared to the public at large, so it wouldn't really make sense to cancel a class because it had a gay student. The instructor who reported this incident, Cequada Clark, was soon fired.

I would be shocked if this principal was not religiously devout. The fact is the religious right-wing have loss all their senses. Former Republican presidential candidate Rick Perry believes that keeping the government neutral on religion, is the work of his mythical devil. Yes, he believes a satan ensures that we aren't a quasi-Christian theocracy. Remember, this was a govenor of one of the three largest states, and a frontrunner, at one time, for the Republican nomination.

Finally a a Jamie Kuntz was kicked off his college football team (in North Dakota) for kissing his boyfriend, while taping his team's football games. The coach later stated he was fired for not telling the truth, when asked about it. That is the reason given, and it is possible it is true. I am not sure. But if he kissed a woman, even while taping a game, would have it been a big deal? Probably not.
