Gay men in police sex entrapment in California

In Palm Springs, California, the police ran a sting where gay men were asked to take out their penis by an attractive man without a shirt. Were there multiple cases of gay men taking out their penis because asked by attractive, shirtless men? No. This wasn't an example of public sex but an example of a police chief out to make arrests. For no public safety reason at all. Simply, the police cannot, nor should they, try to get law abiding citizens to do an action, that they would not normally do, especially in light of the fact that there aren't incidents of those actions happening.

Whatever one feels about prostitution, I believe it should be legalized and regulated by the way, there are at least cases of prostitution going on in the streets. That it is because of it being illegal in the first place, is a different issue. No attractive woman in a bikini asked heterosexual men to take out their penis. So, these stings were directed only against gay men. The police chief ultimately resigned, as he should have.
