Gen. John R. Allen, the commander of U.S. and NATO troops in Afghanistan, is under investigation for his relationship with Jill Kelley, the woman whose name has been associated with the David Petraeus scandal.

According to a Washington Post report, "the FBI has uncovered between 20,000 and 30,000 pages of 'potentially inappropriate' e-mails between Allen and Jill Kelley."

Jill Kelley, as you may have heard, was friends with recently-resigned CIA Director David Petraeus. It is believed that Kelley may have sparked the investigation into the Petraeus affair after receiving emails from the Paula Broadwood, Petraeus' biographer and alleged mistress.

According to a WSJ report, Kelley spoke to an FBI agent about the menacing emails. The agent ended up being taken off the case. Why? The agent allegedly sent Kelley shirtless photos of himself. Of course he did.

As you can imagine, John Allen and David Petraeus crossed paths over the years. The NATO photo shows the two scandal-plagued military men during happier times.
