Generation Zero is a controversial new documentary film that screened at the National Tea Party Convention in early February. The Generation Zero film has been dubbed "the inconceivable truth."

The film takes a unique view of the recent economic downturn and financial disaster facing the United States of America.

Featuring more than 40 leading experts, authors, and pundits from across the political spectrum, “Generation Zero” exposes how the mindset of the “Greatest Generation” — to not let their children suffer through the same economic hardships that they did during the Great Depression and WWII — led to the “Me Generation” and ultimately the Clinton/Bush era of trading campaign contributions for government “cover” in the form of guaranteed bailouts of Wall Street’s speculative investments, thus sowing the seeds of economic disaster that would be reaped by coming generations.

The documentary features over 40 experts, pundits and supporters from both sides of the political spectrum.

Generation Zero was Citizens United Productions, producers of films such as Perfect Valor, Border Wars, Hype: The Obama Effect and Rediscovering God in America.

Wake up America, lazy days are over. The entitlement generation is running our Country and they intend to ruin it. Wake up, stand up, speak out and make a difference.

This all seems plausible and I would guess that the main street media will never comment or show this for they are all part of the Liberal agenda that got us into this mess!  They may in the end be hunted and persecuted by their grand children who are left to pay for this 100 trillion dollar obligation!

The greatest story never told of 1913. These are the real people behind the red curtain.  They stole our gold and silver to create a fiat currency to control our government . Can we handle the truth I`m not so sure ?

About Generation Zero: People and Businesses in Wall Street Like Goldman Sacks or AIG and others (Barney Franks) who facilitated this collapse by their greedy recklessness yet received big bonuses causing so many people to loose every thing need to go to jail. And those politicians who don't want to open a public inquiry into the stock market debacle need to be impeached and removed from their position. This ought to have never happen! where was the Fed, oh yeah, right alongside the wheeler dealers!

To quote Dan Mitchell from CATO, " To blame this crisis on greed is equivalent to blaming an airplane crash on gravity "

I watched Hannity tonight and was blown away by what I saw.  How can I find a copy to buy?

I am watching it now on Hannity and am flabbergasted as to how true this movie is. I WILL find it and figure out a way to distribute this to schools, where kids are being brainwashed.  This DVD needs to be promoted on every local talk radio, called in to Alex Jones, and American Voice Radio, and distributed on every street corner as long it is legal and not falling under piracy laws.  Capitalism at its best, folks!  Let's buy it and get it out there.

You can buy a DVD over the internet for $19.99 plus shipping. Total bill is $24.98. Google Generationzeromovie. Buy a copy and invite your friends, neighbors, and any other live bodies you can find to view it. I have lived through all of the events depicted and agree with the truth portrayed. Go for it!!

I, too, watched Hannity and these people in our current administration need to be removed from office.  They are trampling on our Constitution and are sending our country into bankruptcy.  Both Dems and Gops need to wake up and stop this insane spending.  We need jobs and they aren't producing.

2
Carl Jenkins

I agree completely, except for one large detail: The little boys and girls in Wash. D.C. are not at all capable of producing jobs. What they need to do is get out of the way, and go home for an extended stay, so that the American people can again create the employment opportunities that are needed to sustain our society.(destroy the fed. govt. "dynasty").

I was blown away by Hannity's show as well.  It's good to see the truth coming to light since the media won't perform its duty.  I'm only 31, but doing the best I can to prepare myself for when this house of cards collapses.

Yes, I came of age in the Woodstock era. However, I did not participate in making the poor decisions that were made throughout the next three decades. Nor was I in any way spoiled by my parents. I do agree that our parents should be called "the great generation", given the hardships they endured, and after going through so much, conducting themsleves as a whole with greater integrity than anyone today on wall street or in our elected officials. The blame lays squarely on those who manipulated makets for their own monetary gain, and our greedy politicians who use their positions to gain power and money. We need to clean house. But..if we did this, there would be not one politician left to run the government. When is the American public going to wake up?

Carl Jenkins

Anne, Believe it or not, the American people (are) wakeing up. (Thank God for the Fox news channel). As you are aware, all of our political party members are,by their very nature, "scum". However, one party is made up of a less harmful variety of "scum". There are really only two viable teams on the field, of play, at this time. In Nov. of 2010, and Nov. of 2012 (I never thought I would say this) I am going to be voting for anything, and I mean anything, with an "R" in front of it, behind it, above it, or below it!!

hummer

it is not smart to only vote for things with an "R" because republicans are not always right (democrats are not always right either) but, it is smart to vote for what you believe is right. not vote just because it is republican.

george cowen

i would really suggest voting for anyone regardless of d or r  that is not a progressive. as you see even our great political machine its checks and balances. progressives are the downfall of this country and not neccessarily repubs or dems.

Carl Jenkins

Anne, The American people are wakeing up thanks to the Fox news channel, and other sources of balanced and logical information. We will be voting in Nov. of 2010 and Nov. of 2012. I believe you will be pleasantly surprised at the outcome of those elections. I never thought I would say this, but I am going to be voting for anything with an "R" behind it, in front of it, above it, or below it!!

OOPS, Sorry, I didn't wait long enough for the first reply!!

Ms. Fuller,      I agree with you said as far as you went. But those who are truely responsible for what we face are the real authorities who are accountable. That would be you and I, and maybe another 200 million plus Americans. I don't count the mellenial children. It is us, we the people who were just living our lives and took our eyes off the snakes that are responsible. And it will be us who will fix it. Respectfully, Michael

I too can't wait to view the entire movie. I also fear it is only a matter of time  before the Liberals and Progressives  villfy this movie because it tells more of the truth than they can handle.

This all started with the Federal Reserve Act of 1913, which was sighed into law against the Constitution by President Woodrow Wilson. Read (The Creature from Jekyll Island) by G. Edward Griffin published in 1994. The removal of the U.S. gold standard in 1971 was the final nail in the coffin of the U.S. and every other nation on this planet. If  people are telling you that things will get better soon, do not believe it, this crisis is global and every country is bankrupt as we speak. To protect you and your family get out of debt as fast as you can and start buying physical silver and gold. The people of the U.S. for decades have been betrayed by the vast majority of elected representatives that we send to D.C. Do not listen to the rhetoric that flows so smooth from the mouths of our politicians. PROTECT YOUR SELF.

I only saw part of the movie and what I saw seemed to be saying that all Baby Boomers were spoiled rotten and greedy and caused the current housing and banking mess.   I was not spoiled at all.   My parents were pretty strict and we were pretty strict with our kids.   My sisters and I made it through college, I even paid my own way with summer jobs and college loans, which I repaid on time.   My kids have turned out great, all grown, two out of college, one finishing up.   They THANK ME for not spoiling them.   I don't know anyone who was spoiled.   My friends were not, my husband was not, my kids were not.   My husband could have retired years ago, but still works, gone 13 or 14 hours a day.   My daughter bought a new house and makes payments ON TIME>   We bought our house in 1987 and we never miss a payment.   We drive old cars, 1996 models, and have money in savings for retirement, IF Obama doesn' ruin that for us.

Just because you weren't spoiled doesn't mean that others weren't.  I was not spoiled in the sense that my parents let my sister and me have everything we wanted, but I was spoiled in the sense that this movie describes; like the parents who grew up in the Depression, my mother knew what financial hardship was and wanted to make sure that my sister and I had all good things.  I didn't fall for it, don't know why, but my sister did and it screwed her up for years; she had to get kicked out of the house and off the parental dole before she finally got her head out of her behind and woke up to reality.  I know exactly what the movie's talking about with the parents of the Greatest Generation, because my mother was the exact same way, and judging by the behavior of many of my peers, their parents were as well.

We have a real big mess on our hands and this is due to both parties. How we can get out of this is anybody's guess. I applaud the information I received on the Hannity show and support the Tea Party 100%. I am 82 and a WWII guy. It's a real shame to see our country going down each year. I can't believe that the jobs we lost to overseas countries will ever come back and anyone who say's they will is a fool. What a problem.

Last night we watched the Hannity program about your movie.  We are in complete agreement about The Greatest Generation who went through World War II and how they wanted to save the next generation from having to go through what we did (we lived through the Depression and World War II).  We know about which we speak.  We wrote a book called

It wasn't the liberals who deregulated Wall Street. The Republicans were in on every greedy scheme and reckless decision of the past 40 years, too.  The Republicans ran massive deficits and made promises that they paid for with borrowed money.  The Republicans are every bit a part of the problem. The Democrats had the CRA, the Republicans had Bush's "ownership society." The Bailout Era started under Bush and continued under Obama. You had a lot of bi-partisan greed and stupidity.  My general impression is that the Republicans were more greedy and the Democrats more stupid.  For example, in 1998, a Republican Congress passed a bill that Bill Clinton signed into law making student loans non-dischargeable in Bankruptcy.  The Republicans wanted to save the banks from these deadbeat college students, while the Democrats wanted more money available for education.  Not surprisingly, the only thing that changed was that colleges could charge students more for tuition. Not surprisingly, tuition has skyrocketed since the reform passed. That's great for the Republican bankers and Democrats in academia, but terrible for students. The leading Democrats aren't even boomers, they are from the "Silent Generation." Harry Reid was born in 1939; Nancy Pelosi in 1940.  The Democratic Party may have a fresh young face at the front, but they are a party of old ideas. Obama's problem is that they are running the show and they are running it badly. The Republicans need to take the House in 2010, simply to create a stalemate that slows down one party from wrecking the place.  Then we will see how Obama responds.

Nice to see a balanced and thoughtful comment...The names Gramm, Reagan, and Greenspan all deserve notice for their efforts to deregulate the financial markets and create an economy based on debt....and certainly they were not hippies..here's how we got here in part....1980 - Depository Institutions Deregulation and Monetary Control Act of 1980   1982 - Garn-<?xml:namespace prefix = st1 />St. Germain Depository Institutions Act of 1982   1986 - Federal Reserve Board reinterprets Section 20 of Glass-Steagall deciding that banks can have up to 5 percent of gross revenues from investment banking business   1987 - Federal Reserve Board reinterprets Section 20 of Glass-Steagall to allow banks to handle several underwriting businesses, including commercial paper, municipal revenue bonds, and mortgage-backed securities   1987 - Federal Reserve Board approves an application by Chase Manhattan to engage in underwriting commercial paper and indicates that it will raise the limit from 5 percent to 10 percent of gross revenues at some point in the future.   1989 - Federal Reserve Board approves dealing in debt and equity securities in addition to municipal securities and commercial paper and issues an order raising the limit to 10 percent of revenues. 1996 - Federal Reserve Board permits bank holding companies to own investment bank affiliates with up to 25 percent of their business in securities underwriting (up from 10 percent). 1997 - Federal Reserve Board states that the risks of underwriting had proven to be "manageable," and says banks would have the right to acquire securities firms outright. 1999 - Financial Services Modernization Act (Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA))   After 12 attempts in 25 years, Congress finally repeals Glass-Steagall, rewarding financial companies for more than 20 years and $300 million worth of lobbying efforts. Supporters hail the change as the long-overdue demise of a Depression-era relic.   And 10 years after that….well maybe it wasn’t such a relic after all…
