Former President George W. Bush Joins Facebook: Lot's of Likes

This could be the beginning of the end for Facebook. Former U.S. President George W. Bush has launched a Facebook fan page. At the time of this post over 36 thousand people have "liked" it.

Clearly George Bush is not writing his posts, as the are in the third person. The first Facebook post for George Bush says,

Since leaving office, President Bush has remained active. He has visited 20 states and 8 countries; given over 65 speeches; launched the George W. Bush Presidential Center; participated in 4 policy conferences through The Bush Institute; finished the first draft of his memoir, “Decision Points”; and partnered with Pres...ident Clinton to establish the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund. More on his activities in future posts...

The second post promotes his wife Laura's new book spoken from the heart. Almost all the comments on George Bush's Wall are positive, with only one calling former President Bush "a disgrace." Instead, the posts welcoming George Bush to Facebook and wish he was still President

So glad this page has been established so we who so admired him as President can keep up with his comings and goings. Sure miss him as president; his replacement is ruining our nation, the nation he and so many others have worked hard to build and defend. God Bless you, Mr. President.

I just want you to know that I think that you were a wonderful President and I admire you and your wife so much.  I hope that you just ignore the things that people say about you, as I think that they are not very bright. I wish you were still in office, as we would not be in the mess we are in now.
