George Tiller's funeral held in Wichita Kansas

Dr Tiller's clinic - called Women's Health Care Services - had often been the site of demonstrations, and he had been shot and wounded by an assailant 16 years ago.

A small group of anti-abortionists demonstrated near the funeral which was attended by, among others, 50 motorcyclists from the American Legion Riders, who said they were there to honour Dr Tiller's service in the US navy.
