George Bush Book: Decision Points; Memoirs To Be Release

When he was President of the United States George W. Bush  was known for his verbal gaffes during speeches but since he left office he has remained silent, rarely granting interviews. Now George W. Bush is choosing to express him self with the written word, in his memoirs called Decisions Points.

The release date is November 9 for Decisions Points and apparently it will focus on the crucial decisions he made while President said Crown Publishing, a division of Radom House Publishing. The publisher says Decision Points will be unlike any other political memoir.

"Instead, he has spent almost every day writing 'Decision Points,' a strikingly personal and candid account revealing how and why he made the defining decisions in his consequential presidency and personal life."

The book, which will not be a traditional memoir, promises to be "gripping," and feature "never-before-heard detail" regarding the 9/11 attacks, as well as Bush's relationship with his family.

The Bush presidency went from a promise of compassionate conservatism to what many perceived as a secretive place with George Bush either portrayed as evil or as the puppet whose strings were being pulled by Vice President Dick Cheney. Whatever the truth of the Bush Presidency he was one of the most unpopular President's of all time when he left office in January 2009.

Decision Points will sell for $35 dollar and one suspects a nDecision Points e-book will also be released. Electronic or ink, the publisher say the book will trace the Bush presidency from the beginning.

"President Bush brings readers inside the Texas Governor's Mansion on the night of the hotly contested 2000 election; aboard Air Force One on 9/11 in the gripping hours after America's most devastating attack since Pearl Harbor; inside the Situation Room in the moments before launching the war in Iraq," said the publisher.
