Gerald Celente, trend forecaster: Super-Great Depression

He does make some valid points and his prognosis could very well unfold as he voices it.

He is very good!!

Celente seems to be saying out loud what many people are thinking. He has cristallised and drawn together the many "It's-going-to-get-much-worse" statements that have been issued recently from some of the biggest movers and shakers in political, industrial, banking and economic circles.

I'd like to think that they are all wrong,

But..........

Tell us something we don't know, we are on a precipice. Everyone is hoping that the US does not fall off and carry the rest of the world with it. But then again, if it did happen it would lead to real Change, not just slogans. The question is would that Change be such a bad thing. Would it throw the world back to the stone age or allow us to throw off the shackles of industrializaiton and consumer-as-god mentality and into a sustainable civilization. Our environment has already reached the precipiace and we pushed it off, it is truly unfortunate that we need a Super-Great-Depression to put us in line, but it looks like the only way.

That being said, I do not think things are going to get nearly as ugly as Gerald Celente supposes. Obama may not save the economy, but he might very well be able to save the heart of the nation by uniting the American people and ultimately the world.

We are truly living in exciting times, I am not depressed, I am enthuiastic for the changes that are coming one way ot the other.
