Get a different perspective...live TV from around the world

I have a very international background and perspective for which I am immensely thankful. . I see many who post on here with an opinion on international affairs, and I suspect their only source of information is US Press as they seem very parochial and limited in their information sources. Just for a giggle try downloading free software and watch international news from around the world. You can get it here free (streaming media).

As I type this, I am watching breakfast TV live in Pakistan (imagine Today is Islamabad) and getting live news on the latest drone strikes. You could pick South Africa, Iran, Israel - there are over 2000 choices, pick your own area of interest

I am lucky with this as I have fluency in several (including Farsi), but even if your language skills are...well...limited, there are still English language options. May make a change from Beck or Olberman, and it might just give you a wider view of the world. Try a direct source for a change- you might just find you get a much clearer (though different) view than Fox or CNN serves you up. I have to say though, some of the ads are hilarious!
