Get up, stand up - "Code Red" rally Dec. 15, 1:00PM ET
United we stand ... for the Constitution. The 2,000 plus page Healthcare reform bill is about to become law which will create an entitlement program that will effectively turn our country into a Totalitarian regime.
This Government and its leadership would want every citizen who voted for TRANSPARENCY, equity, low unemployment, mortgage stabilization, and spending control to believe that what they are proposing in the Senate on behalf of healthcare reform is inevitable.
It is time for every Democrat, Republican, Independent, Libertarian, and Undeclared voting citizen to show this country's leadership that their vote is not inevitable and the direction they are headed with the potential approval of a 2,000 plus page monstrosity of a public takeover in the decisions that are critical to our lives is the wrong direction. It is time for every voting citizen that wishes to stop the erosion of our country's Constitution to converge on the mall in Washington DC.
CODE RED RALLY - stop congress now! - The Capitol Building and Mall in Washington DC - December 15, 2009 - 1:00PM ET (speakers to address rally at 1:30PM ET - many Senators, Congressmen, and freedom fighters are scheduled to talk)

Code Red Rally Tuesday 1pm Dec 15th US Capitol
By Laura Ingraham - December 8, 2009, Posted 11:00PM ET
It's time we all stop pretending that what is happening with this Obamacare debate is about "helping the uninsured" or "fixing the healthcare system" or "giving the people what they want." It's about none of those things. Its about amassing as much power in a central government as humanly possible. Its about wealth redistribution. It's social engineering at its absolute worst.
The American people must take this political system back from those who have hijacked it in one of the most abhorrent power grabs that we the voters have ever seen. It's the holiday season so the Democrats are counting on you to be otherwise occupied and too busy to stand against their massive expansion of government.
Let them underestimate us again just as they did last summer. Let these unrepresentative politicians proceed with their legislative chicanery and self-righteous grandstanding. We can expose them and confront them in the classic American spirit--a public gathering on their doorstep.
On December 15th at 1 pm, we will remind Pelosi, Reid, Schumer et al. that they work for us and not the other way around. We will demand that they follow the will of the people, not dismiss and degrade it by putting future generations into a deficit dungeon. We will put every politician who supports this travesty on notice: enjoy your remaining time in the U.S. Capitol because we're coming for your seat.
The American people will not forget those who turned their backs on us and voted for a bill that they hadn't read and which will do nothing but ensure that one of the best healthcare systems in the world is compromised.

Many voters in the last election cycle stuffed their brains into a "hate" bucket and voted with their minds and freedoms closed putting both at risk of being totally controlled by a Government that has an Us against Them agenda based on an end result of totalitarian country ... stripped of its freedoms and sovereignty (Copenhagen).
It is time to stop this run-away spending spree, TARP slush-fund using Government and show these leaders why they are wrong when they suggest that what this leadership attempts to do is inevitable ... there is NO CONSENSUS - show up at the Capitol December 15, 2009 at 1:00PM ET and show these folks who's the boss! Affirm American exceptional-ism.
Be sure to wear the color RED!
This UPDATE for 12/15/2009 excerpted and edited from Laura Ingraham -

We all need to support this rally even if we can't be in Washington DC on the 15th. Wear Red for this Code Red Rally and call your Senator, Congressman and Representatives to voice your opinion!

If you can not make it to Washington DC ... gather at your nearest Federal Building in your State and major metropolitan area.

My husband and I attended the 9/12 rally in DC, as well as the 11/5 rally at the Capitol. We very proudly stood up for our country and its Constitution. We listened to the speeches and visited our reps (who were NOT there!). The bill passed through the House anyway! We don't want to just keep coming to DC and listening to people TALK - we've pretty much heard it all! Someone please tell us how showing up again and listening to mostly Republicans (2 of whom seem to be voting FOR this health care bill!) is going to make any difference to these arrogant politicians. They saw us and heard us before and ignored us - why should this time be any different???

God Bless You!!!Keep up the pressure. All that is needed for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing. Instead of travelling again, organize a rally at a Federal Courthouse near you. Thanks!

NEVER give up your effort to stand up and be represented in this effort to have our county work as prescribed in the Constitution.
They want you to quit and give up but we need to stand firm ... even if this means that our Christmas may be interrupted by a deaf Government.
We have fought a bloody war to end physical slavery ... we may need to fight a war again to end Government induced economic slavery.

Resistance at first is much easier than at the beginning. It is why our colonialists beat the British in the civil war and why Osama beat the Russians in Afghanistan (and might get us as well). Never give in. Never. You never lose until you do.

rng:You represent a shrinking number of people who want to fundamentally change the nature of our nation. The Constitution precludes the federal government from doing what is currently being proposed. There are plenty of monarchs and dictators out there for you to bow down to, if you want. We do not. We stand for our country as it was established.

America has forgotten the God who made them the greatest nation on the face of the earth America owes no apology to any nation on the face of the earth. I am totally frustrated with ALL of our government representatives - they should be put in jail!!! Since retirng I have had the time to watch how they operate in Washington, and it is simply disgusting. If you listen closely to each party, your wonder how they can be both talking about the same 'issue'. Their individual views and comments are in direct conflict with one another. The way they get away with this is 'selective debate' ----- picking out those elements that support each sides' position! They show complete disdain for those of us who pay attention. They must think that we are stupid people who don't recognize what is going on. We need to get rid of all those currently in office, explore a constitutional ammendment that imposes term limits, and restore the government to the people. I'm sure it is frustraing to many who have attended Tea Parties, gone to previous rallies in Washington and voiced their displeasure with their senators and representatives. But, we must continue to show our feeling to those in power - and show it in large numbers. I will go to Washington on December 15th - and I live in Florida. I wonder if I will be able to get into the city, or will our elected politicians come up with a way to stop us? Don't give up!!!

I went to DC on Nov. 5 also and am discouraged that our senators are not listening to over 54% of the American people that do not want this health care bill. However, Sen. Coburn said on a tele-conference tonight, Dec. 9, that this bill would have passed by now if it weren't for the conservative voices of the
Americans who have been speaking up since August. Now is not the time to stop the fight or to get
frustrated. His suggestions were to gather funds for ads in newspapers that pinpoint senators and
point out that we are not fooled by a senator who votes for cloture but then excuses himself by saying he didn't vote for the final bill. He said to write letters to the editors of local newspapers. He said to call your senators and other blue-dog Democrats every day and shut down their lines with 250,000 calls a day. He said do contact these Senators: Webb of VA, Nelson of Neb., Lincoln of Ark, Landrieu of Lousiana, and Bayh of Indiana. He said it was essential that the congressman felt pressured again with a 100,000 in DC by Dec. 15. He said this bill eliminates our personal choice, our freedom, and mortgages our grandchildren's lives. He said to tell your senators to answer your questions and to quit responding with form letters to the personal letters that you write your senators. If we don't give up, we just might stop these senators who have been loyal to their party instead of to the Americans they represent. Sen. Coburn said to call everyone you know, activate them, go to local senate offices on Dec. 15 if you can't go to DC, and not to give up.

Count me in the bunch who attended both the 9/12 and 11/5 rallies -- traveling from northeast Florida for the former event and from Maine for the latter event. Having just returned from last week's KSM Trial protest in Manhattan, I am packing my bags anew to make the trip to DC for Tuesday's Code Red rally, traveling again from northeast Florida. Boots-on-the-ground is a critical visual for our paint-by-numbers representatives in Congress. Yes, they might still vote for the bill as they did in the House, but rest assured it will cause them great distress to do so as they imagine what life would be like after losing an election.Regrettably there are so many outrages manufactured by this current administration, it feels like we're drowning in the flood. My participation in good citizenship is the only thing that keeps me from opting out of the struggle. I don't want to be with the 40 percent of this country who'd rather fiddle while the Republic burns That alone is worth all the significant inconveniences faced in making it to these events. .

I went to the rally and it was great. However, somebody in the crowd must have lost a bracelet, which I have. Nobody in the front would let me tell someone to make an announcement about it. If you know anybody who lost a bracelet, I am going to email Senator Demit about it and you can contact him and he will contact me. You will need to describe it. Does anybody know who the Dude dressed up as a Minuteman was?
