In Canada "voting for the environment" means getting rid of the Conservatives first. The Liberals, the NDP and the Green Party all have plans to make headway with environmental issues.
The Conservatives don't believe there is a problem and want 'business' as usual. Grow the economy and business, consume, grow it all some more, consume some more.....ad infinitum.
We can do that forever right?
Everyone knows the infantile view right-wingers everywhere have of the current environmental crises.
Moonwolf, we have the Green Party in Alaska. They do quite well Statewide in the National elections, or did. Seems like about one of three yard signs last Pres election was Green. They seem to be missing this year.
