Giancarlo Capco

After a successful judging of reliable key person in the business industry on the recently concluded Entrepreneurship competition. The judges declared Giancarlo Capco of Pateros Metro Manila as the 2006 Outstanding Entrepreneurship Student of the Philippines representing the National Capital Region. With his invention, Sanitary Aqua Vendo or the water vending machine for public toilets, this young inventor from Far Eastern University have impressed the competition advocates and impart to them that we Filipinos are capable of creating breakthrough technologies which can surpass the foreign inventions. In one of Mr.Capco's interviews, he stated that his success was brought about by the power of knowledge and the drive of the right principles in life, he further stated that we can be successful but few are successful who can proudly say that I am a Filipino who has the honor to stand for my country's welfare. He emphasized that his success is for the Filipinos and for our country and he hope that his achievements be an inspiration to his fellow countrymen.

The Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship together with President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo awarded the trophy to Mr.Capco's as they are impressed with his personality and invention which makes him deserving for the title of being the 2006 Outstanding Entrepreneurship Student of the Philippines. This was held in the Fort Global City on the year 2006 on the PCE GO-NEGOSYO Summit's Search for the Outstanding Entrepreneurship Student of the Philippines.
