The Girl Who Caused Outrage Around the World When She Appeared on Video Throwing Puppies in a River Has Been Caught
Police in the Bosnian town of Bugojno say they have identified the girl seen on the video throwing six puppies in a river, but they are not going to release her name due to concerns for her safety.
It is not known if the person who filmed the video has been identified also.

The girl is a juvenile, and police were able to locate her with the help of animal rights groups in the country.
The girl's parents will soon be questioned, police said. Under recently adopted animal protection law, people can be fined up to €5,000 ($6,400) for cruel treatment of animals.
The disturbing video sparked outrage when it was posted online as it showed a young blond girl in a red sweater seemingly gleefully throwing six puppies from a bucket into a river.
There were rumors on Thursday that the girl had been identified to be someone named Katja Puschnik or Antonia Miskic, and that she had made a YouTube apology, but those have since turned out to be false.
People all over the world went on the hunt to identify the girl and the person who took the video, and 4Chan were even involved.
It is not known what will happen to the girl, or why she threw the puppies in the river in the first place. There were reports that she had done so because they were ill and her grandmother asked her to get rid of them, but those are unconfirmed.
Now that she has been caught, it is not known if her name will ever be released.

When it comes to animal cruelty I can be very cruel and sadistic on my thoughts towards the other people. But when I saw this video I instantly felt heat rushing through my body and cried but also at the time I wanted to do this to her. 1) chop her legs off and her arms. 2)cut off her eyelids. 3)and throw her in a river so she can watch her own death and see if she can swim and live. I thought it was a very good idea. :D

It was not right at all what this lil girl did, she is going to pay a fine she should have to pay for each one & have to do time in jail. Whether or not they were viewed as unclean it still gives no one the right to toss them in the river like that. Those poor pups didn't even have a chance, it looks as if that water was very cold and the second to last or the last looked as if it may have hit the tree before it went into water. She deserve all that's coming to her. The police wants to protect her name for what, if it were a celebrity they would have it all over the place
