Animal Lovers and Activists Will Be Shocked to Learn that the Girl Who Was Videotaped Throwing Puppies in a River in Bugojno, Bosnia, Will Not be Charged

The young blonde girl who was the subject of a YouTube video and Internet search after she was videotaped throwing six puppies into a river will not face animal cruelty charges according to the German Herald.

The police, who never released her name or confirmed her identity, say that the girl is not old enough to face the court. PETA and other local animal rights groups say that the police told them the puppies were rescued from the Vbras River by another woman, but they say that's impossible.

PETA spokeswoman Nadja Kutscher said: "This is outrageous. The puppies that the old woman was with were completely different ones to those thrown into the river in the video.

"The puppies would never have survived in the river."

The video that was posted on YouTube showed a young blond girl gleefully throwing puppies in to a river by the scruff of the neck, and even asking the cameraman at one point if they can swim. The video (warning, contains graphic and disturbing content), was originally uploaded through a YouTube account on to Liveleak and has sparked the same reaction as the video of Mary Bale placing a cat in a wheelie bin in England and calmly walking away. It sparked an online campaign to find out the identity of the girl and the person who filmed the incident, believed to be her brother.

This is just sick, she dose this, films it, posts it on you tube, and now shes too young to go to court? In most countries you can be prosicuted as an adult at 13, this girl looks at least 13, so whats the deal???? she needs to be punnished for this, period.

This sickens me, how someone can do that then get no serous consequence. She and the other person should at least be put in some kind of therapy program. It's just fucking fucking blows my mind.
