Glenn Beck tastelessly invoked the memory of the late NBC journalist Tim Russert to attack his critics (Keith Olbermann and comedian Bill Maher) for not being good journalists. At the same time, Glenn Beck said that he was not a journalist, but rather an "opinion maker."
Olbermann and Maher had criticized Glenn Beck on Friday night's broadcast of "Real Time" for whipping up the fringe elements of society with bizarre rants and doomsday scenarios.

Russert was a good journalist and hammered left and right alike. Beck is honest about his motivations and agenda. Olberman and Maher are no different than Beck but are simply on the opposite side of the spectrum. They are all purveyors of political opinion as they see it. I like Beck because I'm generally conservative. Others like Olberman and Maher because they are general liberal. Nothing wrong with it as far as I see. It is what it is.

What is Beck's agenda? To turn bitter white Republican red staters into a scared, angry mob? To fan the flames of crazy McCain rally attendees until they turn to violence?
Is that why Glenn Beck alternates between staged sobbing and seething anger like an angry spoiled little child?
The late Tim Russert would have been mortified by mentally unbalanced kook like Glenn Beck using his memory to further his wacko rants and justify his craziness.

It is now the liberals and democrats time to shoot and kill anyone they disagree with. Shut down free speech. Very democratic and dangerous. If I was not paranoid I would think that there is a "one world" conspiracy going on to hijack freedom and democracy from the grips of the people.

There's not one thing in this story that even suggests shutting down free speech or shooting, or killing anyone. Are you on prescription medication?
BTW, where was your anger when Bush wiretapped Americans without a warrant? Suspended habeas corpus? Imprisoned American citizen Jose Padilla without a speedy trial and violated the Bill of Rights?
