British scientists have discovered hundreds more methane "plumes" bubbling up from the Arctic seabed, in an area to the west of the Norwegian island of Svalbard. It is the second time in a week that scientists have reported methane emissions from the Arctic.

We need to watch this but there is little that can be done.  If the rate crosses a threshold it will be catastrophic, and it has happened before.

steve468, I like this story. Methane and chlorine destroy the ozone layer. The only repair job Space gas mirrors to reflect uv light if ozone continues to deplete caused be Methane
