Global Poll: Less Than Half Believe Al-Qaeda Behind 9/11

A new global poll conducted across 17 countries has found that less than half of those surveyed believe Al-Qaeda was behind the 9/11 attacks, with a full 15 per cent believing that the terrorist outrage was directly perpetrated by the U.S. government.
On the eve of the 7th anniversary of 9/11, the poll underscores how a majority of people still do not buy the official story, despite numerous attempts to reinforce the explanation that 19 hijackers at the behest of Osama bin Laden were the culprits behind the plot.
“The survey of 16,063 people in 17 nations found majorities in only nine countries believe al Qaeda was behind the attacks on New York and Washington that killed about 3,000 people in 2001,” reports Reuters.

It's been 46 years since the Kennedy assassination and they still haven't told us the truth about that one, so people should not hold their breath waiting for any soul-cleansing announcements from US govt on 9-11 either ...

I believe the numbers are much higher, and outside of America many do not believe the US storyline. Here in China they are showing 911 taped recordings with the solid evidence that the US government imploded the towers demolition style. The surveys are designed to figure out who is against the US story and to blackball those people, so they can not mount an offensive against the Bush murderers.

Joseph Goebbels, Nazi propagandist ministry, once said: "If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it". That is what this conspirator theory does, make a lie became true. US government attacking its own people is a little bit too much, be a jealous anti-US activist is acceptable, everyone has freedom of speech, but spreading lies around is the same that fascists did, not a fair game.

Actually, the theory of the Big Lie goes to Adolf Hitler and his description of the use of it by Jews.
Still, it works, as proved by the Palin "Bridge to Nowhere" Big Lie.
Goebbels often gets the credit through for the theory, mistakenly so.

US government attacking its own people is a little bit too much, be a jealous anti-US activist is acceptable, everyone has freedom of speech, but spreading lies around is the same that fascists did, not a fair game.
.....AS we know Goebbels was in the government. The Reichstags fire was a lie, that Nazi's started.....and much information on the internet proves the US government did 911

Despite the failure of the US government to provide real evidence of Bin Laden's involvement in the 9/11 attacks, and the failure of the DOJ to indict anyone other than Moussaoui in connection with the attacks, despite numerous "confession" tapes from "bin laden" and "al qaeda", as well as statements from KSM and others subject to closed military tribunals with secret evidence, large numbers of people around the world are skeptical that responsbility for 9/11 lies with bin laden and al qaeda.
