The Good, The Bad, The Ugly
In an age of lightening fast media exposure along comes a Presidential candidate like a shining knight on a white steed, shield and sword at the ready to vanquish all who stand in the way. A political candidate whose stature only supports that his leadership can be the cure all to rescue that damsel in distress, the American teetering on the edge economy. Beguiling the public ever so stealthy with academy award performances in almost every political speech or interview made, all are masking over his true intentions. Intentions hiding under cloaks of deception morphed by misshaped ideologies that continue to enrapture over a swooning public.
The public is being manipulated and duped by the media's overwhelming presence of their coverage of what is a never ending Presidential campaign season. We now have a Presidential candidate whose principals are guided by concepts that boarder on the extreme. It has been said that ever since the beginning of man the continued struggles of man have always been about who is going to rule. Whether global domination by an individual or nation they have always been in the equation of every struggle through-out history. Now we are faced with a political presence that is being shaped at this very moment by a media that is carefully orchestrating and paving the way for assention toward that pinnacle of power, the White House.
It is not the meek that are hoping to inherit the earth. It is a presence who reaches that pinnacle of power that will take it by force. Which brings us back to today. A festering of resentment by one political party toward the other ever since the present Administration took office has escalated into a full blown infection of rebellion, though not as potent as the Arab Spring of last year, but still a very strong movement toward sabotaging an incumbency. All of which reduces the United States ability to revitalize and only increases the probability of more aggression through-out the world.
Already the United States has an elitist government and an elitist business culture that are dictating what the reality is for millions of the John Doe's all across America. No longer are there avenues open that enable one to embark on the road to fulfilling the American Dream. All are paved with roadblocks so that passage is closed for millions more. Now, we are faced with a political presence shaped by the media that is in collusion with the elitists. A political process that only perpetuates elitism has uprooted the fundamental principals that governed America form our founding fathers all the way till the mid 1960's. Slowly and steadily since the mid 60's the governance of America has been taken over by a political process that only favors more elitism. All one has to do to see what has happened to our society as a whole is to understand that Liberty, Justice, Education and Morality are practically out of the equation of the rule of governess.
With this years Presidential campaign now in full swing the only good thing so far that has come about is the fact that we are just a tad better off than we were at the beginning of 2009. That's not saying much. When we have an incumbent President who is virtually handicapped by a widely critical Republican Congress and a Republican Presidential Candidate who is so vague about how if elected he intends to revitalize the United States shows that the John Doe's, the majority of Americans, are steadily loosing their patience and hope that their future will be brighter than their today's.
The ugliness of this political season is that it has been going on practically the moment that Obama was first sworn in office. Right after the Inauguration political posturing was already afoot. Sure, there were moments that resembled some semblance of governing. But, when a legislative body that is so vehemently opposed to any effort put forth by the present Administration has only resulted in a quagmire of dilemmas. This only delays action that could alleviate some of the current economic troubles. It is these dilemmas that not only appear to have no resolution in sight but like in Greece, Spain, Italy and other European countries where their economies are all teetering on the edge, just like the United States, are poised to at any moment to fall into that cataclysm of economic peril. The President has tried to put resolutions on the table, though some would disagree with the concepts, but nevertheless has tried to get something done to ease the financial burden that so many are still in. When we have opposite and counter insurgents that delay or openly prohibit those resolutions from ever being put to the test puts the United States in further risk. Meanwhile, again like in Europe we continue to wallow in a perpetual state of economic distress.
This whole political campaign season is a season that has been going on for years. A presidential campaign that never seems to end only encourages more of less governess of the population. This, at a time when legislation and resolutions are imperative. With the United States and rest of the world poised to implode financially while many more nations ore on the verge of violent overthrow now is not the time to be so contentious and distract the present Administration from doing it's job as they see fit. The time for open debate on the changing of the guard, sort of speaking should take place after the nomination from respective conventions and not before.
The spectacle of some of the worlds governments whose one ambition is too devour it's own citizens, like termites devouring everything in sight leaves little doubt that the rest of the global community continues to watch ideally by as regimen after regimen ignites the wrath of it's own while other nations maintain a passive surveillance or ignore the atrocities being committed. This, when so much that could be done to put an end to the carnage isn't being done and when so much attention is being focused on matters that pale in comparison are leaving little doubt that an intervening factor is involved. When the government in place is being coerced into falling victim to offset another party's agenda this is leaving open the door to lost opportunity to ease the suffering not only here but in those countries that need help so desperately.
With so much at stake in the world today it is time for an Administration which is currently in office not to be distracted or lured into a pretence of keeping pace with other political factions that are bent on disrupting that Administration from governing. Time for governing is now. To be distracted only prolongs putting workable solutions in place to ease the many crisis that are currently plaguing American. To put in play a decisive plan of direction for this country that lays the groundwork for national security and prosperity now and for the future has to be the priority of any Administration.
