TruemorsGorda, south of Big Sur, and many miles from any other gas station on a highway with no other sources of fuel, is - as of April 26, 2008 - the most expensive gas station in the county. When I stopped there on May 17th, 2008 a gallon of regular unleaded was $5.59. That's about a buck and a half more expensive than San Luis Obispo.
