Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.
Gordon Brown is expected to be asked to pay back some money as part of the investigation into MPs’ expenses claims.
Just when we thought that the 'MP expenses row' was over, it rears its ugly head again. And, well, pun intended for the controversy this time involves our very own head, the Prime Minister Gordon Brown. Erk!
Mr Brown used his expenses to pay his brother Andrew Brown £6,577 for cleaning work at his Westminster flat between 2004 and 2006. The brothers shared the cleaner at their two flats. Under the arrangement, Andrew Brown paid the cleaner and the Prime Minister reimbursed his share of the cost.
Could this be exactly what Labour dissidents need to oust Brown before next year's general election? And what fodder will this give to the Tories' criticism of the Labour Party and in particular Gordon Brown? I dare say we'll find out this week.

If Brown had not taken over the leadership the same things would have still happened. He has to go though, cant have the Tories in again.

It seems politicians around the world are the same. No respect for taxpayers.

Actually, Brown owes the entire world about a trillion dollars. He created the bubble, he exported it around the world, and then when it blew up, he pushed the US and other countries to go for the toxic bailout schemes. The guy is a crook worse than Madoff!

Gordon Brown created the bubble all by himself? The man is AMAZING! And you say he exported it? Why, he must be Superman, or maybe even SUPER DOOPER MAN!

Look at the evidence: light-touch regulation of the City (as in NO regulation), UK exported biz wisdom that led to things like Iceland becoming a global banking centre, the City is now the world's number one financial centre (as in the epicentre of corruption and greed and fiddling): all of this deliberately done by Brown in order to cream off the tax receipts to build his political programme. Go look it all up!
