Government waste £55million on......office furnishings by Arleen Ouzounian

The figures are in and it seems Labour is a big spender, literally.

Reports suggest that £1million was spent on artwork and £500,000 was spent on pot plants.

The worst offender was the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), spending £24million since 2005. Next in line, the Department for Transport, has spent a shocking £17.5million.

When fuel prices are rising, businesses are failing and people are facing bankruptcy, Labour feels justified to splash the cash for unnecessary furnishings. Whatever next?
