TROOPERGATE CASE: Todd Palin Had Unusual Access

Governor Sarah Palin, the vice presidential candidate on the Republican Party ticket, running with Senator John McCain, the Republican presidential nominee, according to an article entitled, Meet Sarah Palin's Right Wing Pals, at Salon.com, has been acquainted with and aided Mark Chryson, former chairman of the Alaska Independence Party (AIP), Mark Chryson and Steve Stoll, identified as a John Birch Society activist, in their aspirations in Alaskan government.

The article states:

.... During the 1990s, when Chryson directed the AIP, he and another radical right-winger, Steve Stoll, played a quiet but pivotal role in electing Palin as mayor of Wasilla and shaping her political agenda afterward. Both Stoll and Chryson not only contributed to Palin's campaign financially, they played major behind-the-scenes roles in the Palin camp before, during and after her victory.

Palin backed Chryson as he successfully advanced a host of anti-tax, pro-gun initiatives, including one that altered the state Constitution's language to better facilitate the formation of anti-government militias. She joined in their vendetta against several local officials they disliked, and listened to their advice about hiring. She attempted to name Stoll, a John Birch Society activist known in the Mat-Su Valley as "Black Helicopter Steve," to an empty Wasilla City Council seat. "Every time I showed up her door was open," said Chryson. "And that policy continued when she became governor."

The article also describes the Alaska Independence Party and its founder, Joe Vogler:

The AIP was born of the vision of "Old Joe" Vogler, a hard-bitten former gold miner who hated the government of the United States almost as much as he hated wolves and environmentalists. His resentment peaked during the early 1970s when the federal government began installing Alaska's oil and gas pipeline. Fueled by raw rage -- "The United States has made a colony of Alaska," he told author John McPhee in 1977 -- Vogler declared a maverick candidacy for the governorship in 1982. Though he lost, Old Joe became a force to be reckoned with, as well as a constant source of amusement for Alaska's political class.

Karen Hatter, I like this story. It's good stuff.

Like I said in one of my pieces, she's got more skeletons than a medical school lab

Who is radical?
In June sources released information that during his campaign for the State Senate in Illinois, Barack Obama was endorsed by an organization known as the Chicago "New Party". The 'New Party' was a political party established by the Democratic Socialists of America (the DSA) to push forth the socialist principles of the DSA by focusing on winnable elections at a local level and spreading the Socialist movement upwards. The admittedly Socialist Organization experienced a moderate rise in numbers between 1995 and 1999. By 1999, however, the Socialist 'New Party' was essentially defunct after losing a supreme court challenge that ruled the organizations "fusion" reform platform as unconstitutional.

After allegations surfaced in early summer over the 'New Party's' endorsement of Obama, the Obama campaign along with the remnants of the New Party and Democratic Socialists of America claimed that Obama was never a member of either organization. The DSA and 'New Party' then systematically attempted to cover up any ties between Obama and the Socialist Organizations. However, it now appears that Barack Obama was indeed a certified and acknowledged member of the DSA's New Party.

Yes, but did she join with the Republican governor of South Carolina in his support of Bill Ayers?

It doesn't matter if your republican or democrat. You're radical, dude!

It has been widely reported that Barack Obama has the most liberal voting record in the Senate; out of curiosity I wanted to see where the Senate’s only self declared democrat socialist was on the list. Bernie Sanders (DS) Vermont came in as the fourth most liberal in the Senate right behind Joe Biden.

Dunkelberg and Jim, I thank you for the flags.

A point of major significance in this article is Governor Palin's supporting initiatives ....

.... that altered the state Constitution's language to better facilitate the formation of anti-government militias.

.... which establishes she and her husband's affiliation with un-American associates, of which the McCain-Palin campaign has accused Senator Obama.

Senator Obama has not supported the passage of any legislation to aid the formation of anti-government militias.

'Old Joe' also demanded the RS2477 mining trails be declared public roads.

Karen:

I see a lot of statements about the, "that altered the state Constitution's language to better facilitate the formation of anti-government militias."  But no one seems to add a link to the acutal portion of the Constitution of Alaska that has been changed.

Folks also make it sound like the AIP is something new.  It was there years before Palin was in Government.  When i lived there in 1988 there was an AIP, a Marjuanna Party and a bunch of other out of the main stream groups.  Palin made a video for each of the parties conventions that made it appear that she was involved in the AIP.  What was the truth was she did a video for each parties convention outlining Her Agenda.

The bottom line is no one can find links to Palin that are anything Like, Rezko, Ayers, ACORN, and others.

Obama is all talk, he has done little in any of the postiona he has held.  It is very difficult to get a copy of his Theisis, His documents from the Harvard Law review (wrote one article), Voting present in the IL Sen, getting earmark of 600,000 for a Planetarium.  That sounds great but the person in charge gave his campaign 200,000...  Lets just say this.  While the Dems are attacking McCain for Keating, the Octover suprise is Ayers Obama connection will have new information, along with ACORN and money.

Those who think the numbers for Obama will remain, will be surprised as the GOP has held on to a deludge of information for this last 3 weeks.  Politics is a full contact sport and my folks are telling me the Game is On.

Next someone is going to tie her to Bill Ayer's and the Weather Underground... Palin a radical... Please!  Conserative... Yes!

P.S.  Sure hope your right Politisite when you stay - "Politics is a full contact sport and my folks are telling me the Game is On."  This guy Obama has got to be confronted with numerous unanswered events, ranging from his connection to the terrorist Bill Ayer's; Rev. Wright; His travels to the Middle East (Pakistan, Iran, Iraq, India, Africa) while a student, and where did he get the money?; does he have a "certified birth certificate" showing he is an American citizen (See Berg lawsuit: http://www.bestsyndication.com/?q=20080822_obama_us_citizenship.htm)'; and, did he travel on a Indonesian passport (http://groups.google.com/group/rec.radio.shortwave/msg/451ae54f5ee7c677).

There are just too many unanswered questions... and America only has 3-weeks to get answers... while Obama continues to dance, as if, he already is packing for his move to the WH.  Not so fast Bama ("Barry," or wherever you call youself).  No Osama, Obama, or your Mamma!

And there is a direct connection to McCain with Ayers as well...

Mr. Obama and Mr. Ayers had worked together on two non-profit boards in Chicago, including that of the Annenberg Challenge, an education project that was funded with a huge grant from the former Nixon administration official Walter Annenberg and which also had on its board a Republican donor and former Nixon aide Arnold Weber. Mr. Weber has donated $1,500 to Mr. McCain this election cycle, according to federal giving records.

The campaign season's hottest gotcha game -- six degrees of William Ayers -- has suddenly become a bit more complicated for John McCain and the Republican Party.

It turns out that Ayers, a 60s-era radical and former Weathermen member, is linked to GOP Gov. Mark Sanford through their work for the University of South Carolina.

Since 2005, Ayers has held the title of "distinguished scholar" at USC for participating in an education project. He has attended various university events, been praised highly by school administrators, even published columns on university's website. Meanwhile, Sanford holds the position of Ex-Officio Chairman of USC's Board of Trustees.

True, that "link" is basically meaningless; no one suggests that Sanford endorses anything that Ayers has said or done over the years.

But that's precisely the point, according to the Obama campaign, which is gearing up for another round of Ayers coverage on Tuesday, when records are released for an education group that Obama chaired and Ayers co-founded.

The formation of that group, the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, was considered a triumph for the city's schools, the first major shift of private funds into the public system. Moreover, the grant to create the organization came from the Annenberg Foundation, which was run by a prominent Republican, Walter Annenberg, who maintained close relationships with several GOP presidents dating back to Nixon.

Does Obama's work with Ayers on this education project really call into question "his judgment and readiness to be commander in chief," as the McCain campaign has charged? If so, maybe McCain needs to take another look at Gov. Sanford.

Al, Sarah Palin and her husband have ties to radical right wing activists. Period. That's the point.

If bones are going to be picked, by all means, also pick all of those bones of all of the skeletons tumbling out of the Palins' closet.

The October surprise will be the usual Republican attempts at discrediting registration of voters, like they did in Florida when Al Gore was running, denying voters their right to vote and since Democrats almost always register more voters, any challenges will mainly effect the Democratic Party.

Many of the allegations levied here are dealt with at FightTheSmears.com.

Sometimes, it is necessary to read things other than scurrilous rumor to be informed.

Karen:

Sometimes, it is necessary for the rumors to be put to bed by answering the questions with proof positive Mr. Obama!  Or, we can take the Prez's word for it, as the world was urged to do when Bill "Slick Willie" <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 /><?xml:namespace prefix = u1 />Clinton, wagged his finger at the world and said, "Now listen to me, I had nothing to do with that woman!"

Sorry Karen, but Obama isn't entitled to a pass on the TRUTH anymore than Slick!  He was supposed to be Hillary's VP, but double-crossed the Clinton's and went for the whole enchilada and succeeded.  He was given the opportunity to speak at the '04 Democratic National Convention, by the then leader of the party Bill Clinton.  As, Slick understood that a black man who didn't mirror the demeanor and attitudes of the aging black leaders (i.e., Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, etc.) would help gain the support of a Hillary/Obama ticket.  They underestimated him and his political advisors (and he was p***ed), when they realized instead of a slice of the pie we can have the whole pie!  Well, appears (at this point) Obama, et al, will pig out!

Believe me when I say... I am NOT a racist, but I call em' the way I see em'.  Hopefully, he lives up to ALL the hype... if, he performs in America's best interest I don't care if he's blue, or fire-engine red.

Regards, Bally

Regarding the website (“fight the smears.com”), as you offered within your post, is obviously slanted to address ALL of the accusations that have been directed at Obama.  With regard to his birth certificate, you need to read the Berg vs. Obama, et al (incl. the DNC), whereas, questions have been raised by 3 independent experts, who ALL claim it’s a forgery.  Basically, unless, the State of <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 />Hawaii was using laser printers in 1961, the document shown and claimed legitimate is anything but!  Laser printers didn't appear for another 2 decades!!!!  Opps!

The birth certificate thing is just goofy.

If there had been any credible question of the senator's place of birth and his citizenship, whatever screening required, by the highest governmental agencies, would have uncovered it.

Karen:  Being that I know something about living outside the <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 />USA, and having duel-citizenships, whereas, having lived 20+ years as an American ex-patriot.  Even today I reside half the year in Sweden and the other half in California.  And have held at various times in my life of 69-years passports ranging from "Diplomatic" - to - "Special" - to - "Standard", and, further, have five grandchildren ALL being half American, and understand fully the laws and requirements that effect me personally, my children, and my grandchildren.

Having said that, so as, you don't think for a -- New York minute -- that I don't know what I am talking about!!!  The facts are (a) Obama was born in Kenya, Africa, to an African father and an American mother.  His mother returned to the USA after his birth, which raises the question, as to what type of a document was used for baby Obama??  If, his mother had gone to the US Embassy or Consulate in Kenya prior to their embarkation from Africa, they would have issued him a "temporary passport" good for travel within 30-days and for returning to the USA only!  However it may also be that she obtained a Kenyan passport for herself and/or baby Obama.  This remains unresolved!!!  Also, there are required oaths to activate and obtain the citizenship desired.  Furthermore, passport controls for ALL nations did NOT issue ANY passports longer than 7-years, and 5-years for children under 28 years of age, until the mid-80's.  Today 10-year passports are issued to individuals’ 21-years and older, but yet still only for 5-years for anyone under 21.  Reason being is the changes in facial identification, especially, for younger children.

This raises the question of Obama's Indonesian passport, which would have been issued for 5-years by the Indonesia government, and used for his travel to Hawaii at the age of 5; but, he would of had to return to Indonesia and obtained at least a 2nd Indonesian passport, and quite possibly a 3rd, which is alleged he used for his Middle East adventure.  If (repeat) "IF" he were a US citizen "WHY" wasn't he traveling on a US passport?

This issue won't go away, until, the questions are answered.  The blame here initially is not his, but his - "hippy" - "flim-flam" - "hood-winking" - "scam-artist" - of a mother!  She cut corners and told lies that can effectively be confirmed in legal documentation filed in her (and others) hand(s).  The American people are entitled to know the TRUTH... "Is he, or is he not, qualified to run for and/or hold the Office of the President of the United States??  If, he is great!  If, he has not met the criteria required under law... then he needs to withdraw his candidacy.  He only needs to PROVE IT!

Regards, Bally
