Canada's Federal Liberal Leader Stephane Dion is demanding Loyalty from his Party, in what is rumoured to be a putsch by party members.

My Final Thought
Mr. Dion, time and time again has threatened to call an Election over  Canada's minority Ruling Conservative party over Bills introduced in the House of Common,
These threats turn out to be empty threats, as every time a Bill is introduced and passed in the House of Commons, Mr. Dions blusters, but ultimately sits on his hands and does nothing.  The Prime Minister Stephen Harper more than once has called Mr. Dion on his Bluffs of Calling an Election.  Perhaps embarassed Liberal Party members are fed up with their Leader Mr. Dions' Blustering threats and preceived Waffling on important issues for Canadians and finally have had enough and are looking to replace him.    Bringing back no nonsense ex Liberal Deputy Minister John Manley a fiscal conservative liberal would be a step in the right direction.  Mr. Manley is a fine balance of Liberlism and Conservatism, something all Canadians can agree with.

MONTREAL -- Liberal Leader Stephane Dion has decreed that more loyalty is in order if the party wants to protect its disintegrating fiefdoms in Quebec.

But without the spoils of an election win to distribute among his vassals, Dion may find it difficult to suppress unrest over his tenure on the Liberal throne.

"I'm the leader, and I don't want any more indiscipline," Dion said following a meeting of his Quebec wing executive yesterday.

With Liberals lined up behind him in a show of fealty, Dion tried to erase the growing image of a Quebec wing bordering on revolt.

"As the leader, I have the right to more discipline," he said. "We need discipline because the stakes are too high."

In the past week alone, former cabinet minister Liza Frulla has said Dion "has no instinct" for politics. Quebec wing vice-president Steven Pinkus described the party as in disarray. A onetime prospective Liberal candidate who quit before the last election claimed riding presidents are organizing a putsch.
