I signed up today to "Get the Word Out".  Oh boy is everyone in for a lot of literature!

It all started with a story regarding Drug Smugglers using naive women for Drug mules to traffic everything from tranquilizers to heroin.  The figures, as always in this day and time, are staggering at best.  The article was about how beautiful works of art, Ancient Batik Crafting are currently being used as a front for smuggling illegal drugs into other countries.   First "what is Batik?"

BATIK is an old ancient technique using beeswax or paraffin, a wax “BATIK” dejaunting tool (a/k/a wax pen) used like a type of faux brush.  Once wax hardens a regular brush can be used to paint dye onto fabric within the wax outlines OR fabric may be dipped in various shades of dye (working from light to dark) and paint used to cover those sections completely.  Administered between each dipping of dye from light shades to darker shades until the entire cloth is covered with wax.

Each time fabric is dipped into lightest dye; it is painted over with heated wax, and then dipped into the next darkest color and hot wax applied.  This process continues depending upon how many shades of dye are being used.  there can be as few as 4 dyes or up to 75 dyes.  Once entire fabric is completely covered with “beeswax AND/OR paraffin”, it may be folded, twisted and wrinkled to create a crackle affect, then ironed to remove was.  It may be lain out immediately and ironed until all waxy residues are melted and removed completely.

A standard electric iron is typically used until all wax is out.   It is recommended that ironing be done over drop cloth and newspaper so that your furniture or other precious items are not ruined.  These creations can then be hung as tapestries (stiffened for tapestry purposes OR without all wax being removed).  Fabric may also be ironed completely so that all wax is removed, then washed by hand and softened in a washing machine to be used as a material for clothing.

The hardest part of this latest attempt to evade law enforcement is that it targets naive women who are sometimes lonely for love.   When is it ever going to stop?

Our mission as concerned and law abiding citizens of whatever country we live in is simple.  We need to increase our voice volume by speaking out on behalf of those countries or cities where naïve and sheltered women are targeted.   These women are targeted because they are weaker and are ready, willing and able to jump at the first chance they have to think they are making a better life for themselves.  Their dreams were of finding safety, shelter, security and true love.  What they find after being lured into the Lion’s Den is fear, damp dungeons and brutal rape and possible a life of not only being a Drug Mule but a life of prostitution for survival.

Perhaps each of us could post and sell a piece of original artwork (weight of small painting less than a gram).  We could sell our original works of art on EBAY or AMAZON (selling our creations for an “English" Pound. Pound being used as a metaphor for ~Pound of Hope.   Collaboration might then be established with eBay and/or AMAZON to make this charity into a reality for a better future.  All donations received from sales would provide assistance to these women who are trying to make a better life for themselves. Fulfilling dreams instead of nightmares!

More samples of artwork photographic reproductions are attached to provide hope to those in need if this comes to fruition.
