NP Rank:
Grand Falls-Windsor school vandalized
The music room at Exploits Valley Intermediate was extensively damaged on Wednesday night, just before the music festival that was set for the next morning. The school is new and just opened last week and already has been vanadalized. While the police don't have any ideas yet on who the suspect(s) might be, they are confident that they will solve the case. Royal Canadian Mounted Police corporal Randy Freeborn said that they headed to the new school and smashed their way through a glass door. They then entered the music room and damaged a piano, a drum set and a french horn. "From the footwear impressions we found there's probably two people. The first impression would be one larger and one smaller, which is probably indicative of a male and a female," Corporal Freeborn said. The school has posted a $500 reward for information on the suspects.
