Yesterday December 27 marked the Grand Opening of the New Phoenix Light Rail System.  Nearly four years in the making, the 20 mile system connects Phoenix with its' sister suburbs of Tempe and Mesa.  An estimated 90,000 people took advantage of a cool but beautiful day and took a ride on the rails.

Always good to know that there are forms of efficient and well-used public transit. I hope this light rail will work out well.
