What a bunch of socialist crap!  You must have a very short memory since the worst places to live in recent history (from a health and environmental point of view) were all socialist countries of the old Soviet Union/East Block.  Capitalism is the best solution for increasing quality of life.  By making improving our lives profitable we make more and better solutions to our problems possible.  I do not trust governments to act in my best interest - they rarely ever do.

Capitalism has been responsible for pepetuating poverty and economic disparity.  The most so-called "socialist" countries in Europe which include Demark, and Sweden, have consistently enjoyed the highest quality-of-living among its populations.  This is further corroborated by the Human Development Index.  So your comments betray your own apparent bigotry and ignorance.
