Greek National Opera under occupation
The Greek National Opera has been occupied by groups of young "street artists" since 30th January. The Opera, which is located in Akadamias, central Athens has been taken over by protesters who say they are acting in solidarity with those who participated in the wave of riots and protests that swept Greece in December and January following the police shooting of a teenager and that they have liberated the building in order to open art to everyone.
In contrast, employees and management of the opera have, according to national daily, Apogeymatini condemned the occupation calling it a violation of their right to freedom of artist expression.
Protesters announced via their blog that they have raised 1500 Euros for Konstantina Kouneva, the labour activist who was a victim of an acid attack one month ago.

If what I read on the press about the protestors is true, and particularly about their declarations referring to the german occupation some 60+ years ago, I would say that those guys should better join my 5 year old son at the schoolyard to play with. They would have much more in common with him!
