Greek riots, day #8: Pedalling uphill

Shadowed by police vehicles, a motorized protest rally of about 100 bikers & bicyclists (including kids on mountain bikes), organized by anarchists embarked on a peaceful 3 hour marathon tour of the western suburbs of Thessaloniki, honking for all they were worth & stopping at every crossroads to deliver their message of defiance: "release every prisoner of the December uprising".
The bitterness & anger over the killing of 15 year old Alexis Grigoropoulos by police still holds fast and protest rallies are still held everyday in Thessaloniki, but spirits are waning among protesters out on the streets for more than a week in the chilly & torrential December weather.
