Officials with WhiteHouse.com* announced this afternoon that they will hold a news conference Wednesday at approximately 5 p.m. (Eastern) at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. At that time, they will divulge results of two professionally-administered polygraph examinations taken by Larry Sinclair to test the veracity of some explosive allegations he’s levied against Barack Obama.

Sinclair, you might recall, is the man who became the subject of a BMW post earlier this week after he announced he would hold a news conference at the same venue at 2 p.m. Wednesday. During that event, he promises to divulge details he says will corroborate details of claims that he used illegal drugs with and, on two occasions in 1999, had sex with then-Illinois state senator Obama.

In an interesting but somewhat confusing portion of their news release, WhiteHouse.com officials claim that, after the initial polygraph expert examined the results and made his conclusions, they were accused of taking a $750,000 bribe to suppress and or alter the results of the polygraph examinations. By whom they were accused, however, remains a mystery.

Stay tuned as BMW will attempt to stay on top of this issue as developments arise.

*Despite its name, WhiteHouse.com is a private organization with no ties to the executive branch of the U.S. government.
