How many years has it been? Seeing people caged up may only further infuriate and exasperate the situation. The people were picked up on the battlefield fighting Americans as enemy combatants. Probably the best course of action would have been a field trial followed by summary execution for those found guilty. Anyone else would have been released from captivity.

The Pentagon is considering allowing the families of detainees at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, to visit them, according to congressional aides. The International Committee of the Red Cross, which monitors conditions at the Guantanamo Bay military prison, has been in serious discussions with the Pentagon about a visitation program.
