The Village of around 450 families in the Mahaweli C zone face many hardships including the threat of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam. Aralaganwila was attacked by the LTTE as recently as mid 2002, the so called Years of Peace! Aralaganwila was the target of LTTE brutalities back in the early 1990's where 8 civilians were hacked to death.
Why do they wear these heavy boots? Why do they Carry the weapons? Why do they have just one meal, or maybe no meals at all some days? Are they here to protect the innocence from the Wild Beasts that Roam the jungles? Is it because they want to stay in shape? No they're not here to protect the Citizens from Elephants, Bears or wild bore. No they don't skip meals because they are obese. They lay down their lives and limbs; they sacrifice their freedom and youth to protect the innocence from the Brutal atrocities of the LTTE! Where your evidence that any of what you say is true.
All I see is man wearing shoes and carrying gun.

Simple. If you look carefully you will notice mechanically placed geotags on the photographs. s. You see... I'm technologically challenged to put exact co-ordinates to find Kajuwatta n the middle of No where on Google Earth. I'd shoot myself dead (metaphorically of course) before I waste so much time finding Aralaganwila on Google Earth. So, the answer to your question is that I use a GPS data logger attached to my Camera to geostamp my photographs. Which is why you get exact co-ordinates on the photo. So go figure. If you still don't believe me, do you want me to give an Affidavit?
