A 44-year-old woman was kidnapped at gunpoint and forced to drive from Woodstock, New Brunswick to Toronto.

The suspect is described as around 21 years old, white, with star tattoos on the left side of his neck. He jumped in the back of the unidentified woman's truck and brandished a handgun, and then asked to be driven to Toronto.

The woman was held for over 14 hours before dropping the suspect off in Toronto, but she was not harmed.

The incident began at a campground in Woodstock, N.B., on Saturday afternoon when a man approached a 44-year-old woman, showed her a handgun and demanded that she drive him to Toronto, police said.

The woman drove 14 hours to Toronto, and then drove around the city for another three hours before the man asked to be dropped off in a city park, police said.
