Gunman At Northwestern University: Chicago Campus Locked Down

A gunman has been spotted at Northwestern University, causing the Chicago campus to be locked down. A man sporting a weapon in his waistband was seen in the elevator on the 11th floor of Rubloff Building, 375 E. Chicago Ave. at 10 AM local time. The suspect is described as white male, 5-foot-8 or 5-foot-9, in his 20's. He is reportedly wearing a black canvas quilted three-quarter length jacket, blue jeans and a black button-down shirt.

Police is still investigating and searching the building as the campus remains in lockdown. All students and staff are asked to stay in their offices and lock their doors. Students remaining in lecture halls were advised to take cover under their desks. Chicago Police is reporting no injuries or threats have been reported at this point.
