Guy,

I have only been here since Dec/08. But I have followed your career a bit living in Airdrie.

I worked on Rob Anderson's committee, not hard to elect a PC candidate to this point.

I have left a message for Rob to get back to me with his comments.

I also worked on Ralphs election to Calgary City Hall and then MLA, I am not a newcomer to these things.

But things have changed, Stelmach is not a leader, just a knee-jerk reactionist to confrontation.

I will be happy to work on a solution to this problem, perhaps starting with a real leader.

Thanks for all you have done with Wood Buffalo, this is buffalo crap for sure. One side of his mouth says we are the driving force behind Alberta's economy, the other side of his mouth says don't complain about endless broken promises. Please get me involved!

Colin thank you very much for you comments.  Send Guy an e-mail maybe we can all get behind him on this.  It;s a rare occasion to see a politician stick up for his constituents.

I fully agree with you on your assessment of Stelmach.  He is only there because of the dopey way somebody came up with the run-off electionn.  The result of that run-off was foreseeable.  It kicked the front runners in the ditch since voters all picked number 3 as their second choice.

He promised to build that long term care centre.  My question is, where is the Alberta advantage?

The Federal Stimulus package was to take care of shovel ready projects.  This project is ready to go.  How many people would it employ, during construction and after construction?

With the downturn of the economy and contractors looking for jobs, I am sure this project could now come in under the previous budgeted $35 Million.

There is no foresight in the Stelmach Government.

Thanks for sticking your neck out on behalf of those in this town who currently do and will in the future need long-term care!!

I don't support the Conservative Party of Alberta, but I'll support you.

Steve

Guy, unfortunately I thought "lil stelmach" was the best of a questionable set of contenders for the position as premier.  It only took 4 weeks for me to regret supporting him.  I think it is a shame that your support of your constituents and comments made to them used to make you look bad.  Shame on that constituent!

Point of this whole thing if all the truths were to come out, the lack of a seniors assistated living site  (could) also put undo pressure on the medical facilities for all citizens in your region.

Keep standing tall, don't back down.  I remember you as being one of the instructors I learned the most from because you listened and cared.

Thank you for your comments Ferne.  I totally agree with you.  We need more politicians that listen.

Mr. Boutilier; you stood up for what is right.  The health Minister is wrong in several areas.  Another issue for Ft. McMurray and several other communities is Ambulance.  Integrated Fire Services have standards that health has not been able to maintain and there has been degredation in service levels as service is being lowered in all areas to the lowest common denominator.  The managers from municipalities that had poor systems are now running the province.  The good solid managers from solid municiplaities stayed with their municiplaities. Basically we took the Captains of the sinking ships and gave them bigger ships.

The cost to the taxpayer (there is only one) has gone way up and we now have a lower level of service taking longer to get there.

As a long term party supporter I say you run for the leadership spot and I will support you to straighten things out.  But no mattter what you keep my respect.  I met you years ago and thought you were a straight shooter and still believe you are.
