MIRANSHAH: Pakistani Taliban supremo has been killed in a suspected US drone attack in North Waziristan.
The reports said chief of Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) have been killed in today’s (Thursday) drone strike in Wisalkot area of the North Waziristan tribal agency that killed at least 15 alleged militants.

However, the Taliban sources have not so far confirmed the death.

Hakimullah became overall head of Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan in August 2009 after the death of his predecessor, Baitullah Mehsud, in a missile strike by CIA.

Hundreds of people, many of them civilians, have been killed in drone attacks since mid-2008. Top Taliban leader Baitullah Mehsud was among them.
