Gaza resistance fighters have been firing deeper into the occupied territories in recent days and a spokesman for the armed wing of Hamas vowed on Tuesday rockets would be fired even further if Israel doesn't halt its savage attacks on the Palestinians in Gaza Strip.
On Wednesday, Hamas stepped up Grad-type rocket attacks on Beersheba. Two settlers were wounded when several Grad rockets were fired at Ashkelon. The rockets surprised Israeli President Shimon Peres while touring the settlement. Salah al-Din Brigades, the Popular Resistance Committee's military wing claimed responsibility for the rockets that were fired at Ashkelon earlier.
Also, A rocket fired from northern Gaza landed in the Gedera area for the first time ever. Two Qassam rockets landed in Sha'ar Hanegev Regional Council limits.
