The UN has warned that Palestinians in Gaza are facing a serious health and food crisis, as Israeli air strikes continued for a seventh day.
The "critical emergency" comes despite an increase in humanitarian shipments, said Maxwell Gaylard, the UN's chief aid co-ordinator for the territory.
The UN believes that at least 100 of some 400 Palestinians killed by Israeli action so far were civilians.
Israel said Gazans were continuing to receive sufficient food and medicines

Israel could also recognise Hamas which was legitimately elected and afford them all rights of an elected organisation.
Israel could pull down the barrier walls.
Israel could give back the occupied lands.
Maybe then things would change.

Before Hamas illegally took over Gaza through force Israel was ready to recognize a Palestinian state.
The wall stopped 97% of the terrorist suicide bombers. If Hamas stopped them the wall could come down.
What do you call occupied lands? There are no Israelis in Gaza. Hamas defines all Israel as occupied land.
Maybe things would and could change but THEY WILL NOT while Hamas is firing rockets at Israeli cities.
First, you stop killing your neighbor. Then you ask him to adjust the boundary and trade with you. But if you shoot at his children every day, this will not happen ever, especially if he has bigger guns than you have.

Hamas defines all Israel as occupied land.
Of course, because Israel was only created in 1948, thus taking away lands that were not theres.

The majority of UN member nations were created after 1947, on land that once belonged to another people. Every piece of land on earth is claimed by at .least 6 groups of people.
The UN divided this land in 1947. The UN took it from England, Egland took it from Turkey, Turkey took it from Arabs, Arabs took it from Romans, Romans took it from Jews.
Does every people on earth have a right to kill neighbors to restore ancient claims?

So the Jews have not had it for over 2000 years - I think their claim to it has long passed.
Maybe it should be given to Singapore.
