Hamas Heroes::We Will Kill Jewish Children Anywhere In The World
.
This is despicable. Zahar is Gaza
foreign minister and states publicly
that Hamas will kill Jewish children
anywhere. Hail the Heroes of Hamas.
Fighting intensified on the northern outskirts of Gaza City yesterday as a Hamas leader warne
that the Islamists would kill Jewish children anywhere in the world in revenge for
Israel’s devastating assault.
“They have legitimised the murder of their own children by killing the children of Palestine,” Mahmoud Zahar said in a televised broadcast recorded at a secret location. “They have legitimised the killing of their people all over the world by killing our people.”
Mr Zahar made his first appearance since Israel launched its offensive. Dressed in a dark suit, he declared: “Victory is coming, God willing.”
Mahmud az-Zahar (Arabic: محمود الزهار) (born 1945) is a co-founder of Hamas and a member of the Hamas leadership in the Gaza Strip. Since the formation of the Hamas/"Change and Reform" government in the Palestinian National Authority in March 2006, az-Zahar has served as foreign minister in the government of prime minister Ismail Haniyeh. Prior to that he was seen as a major candidate among the Hamas members elected to the Palestinian Legislative Council for prime minister, as he was at that time the most senior official within the organization. In the end the party decided to go with the then-unknown Haniyeh because az-Zahar is considered the leader of the movement's radical wing

I want to see Hamas cheerleaders here respond to this. The #2 Hamas leader is saying Hamas will willfully kill Jewish children anywhere in the world.
But they will remain silent while contending Israel wants to kill civilians.

No one will is my take. Few care if Israelis /Jews are killed is my take at the end of the day. Thanks so much for sharing this information.

This person posted what is honest news. I am an archeologist who has spent much time in the middle east. I know what I have seen. The young don't have the experience of what we of the older generations have seen and know to be the truth. I reject much of what my country has done. I am vocal and it has cost me much to tell what I have seen.
Truthfully, I find the Israelis and the Iranians (Persians) arrogant and difficult to work with. I also believe that Iran is fighting a proxy war and that by tracing everything back to its beginning's the truth can found. I am trained to do this. I am very sadden by what is taking place.
Using children as warriors and killing children to meet an end are both evil. I hope someone with some courage will say... "THIS MUST END!"

Actually Abbas government is considered corrupt since they are doing very little to lessen the suffering of their people. That's why abbas government lost the election. Other parts of the west bank are not in any better shape than Gaza. I don't know how you can call people who are suffering economical , and unemployment, home demolishion, land confescation, curfews for days and months imprisoned in their homes, tortured in israeli prisons, little children imprisoned as adults in adults facilities and under horrific occupation for 60 years, you call them: "thriving"!! I should suggest that you do some research about Jenin where so many people were massacred by Israel a few years ago. I find your reasoning very distorted. I would question the ethics and moral values of anyone that tries to legitimize the killing of women and children for the greater good. The cancer that you are talking about has spread and infected us all in the US. Our silence to the crimes attests to that. Israel has countless UN sanctions and human rights violations on its hands and yet we are calling Israel our allies instead of distancing ourselves from this cancer. Isn't it time to ask ourselves why the whole world is condemning Israel while we are supplying it with immunitions and F16. Shouldn't we ask how are these weapons used since these weapons are killing innocent lives with the blessing of us Americans! Shouldn't we be the ones condemning Israel since Israel's crimes are our fault for empowering it!!!

Justice4 All,
We seem to have a serious disagreement about almost everything regarding the situation here in Israel. I do believe that being on the ground here and witnessing first hand some of the issues I covered earlier is closer to the reality in the here and now. I am bit sadenned that your comments come right out of the anti-Israel web sites play book almost verbatium. It is almost knee-jerk responses. This discussion has run its course. Israel needs to do what it needs to do in its best interest with no apologizes needed.

The Israeli foreign minister has been castigated all day in the press and on TV for saying Israel will no longer show restraint under rocket attacks.
So far no one has condemned Zahar

The comments by Zahar are damaging to his own cause. However, I can only imagin what people in that region are going through as they are witnessing their sons and daughters scattered in pieces infront of their eyes. I always believed that when a person is subjected to violence then violence will become him. I can't imagin my kids being sorounded by dead bodies or images of bloody people losing eyes and limps and under constant bombing and shelling. Now imagin that these scattered flesh and limps are those of your mothers and fathers and sons and daughters. If anyone of you can honestly tell me that he can imagin his little girl or boy witnessing this horror and not have his blood boil and God knows what any of our reaction would be.

OR another possibility is that the anger is not only directed at the "enemy" but the real enemy of the people, Hamas. They are tired of the indoctrination, forced allegiance and terror toward anyone that voices opposition. So while there is terrible pain and suffering presently the hope for a better future in the region is possible once the Iran-Hamas axis is destroyed or at the least diminished so that the moderate wing of Abbas-Fatah has a chance of regaining control and allowing the area to once again to thrive like many parts of the West Bank are doing. As an example Ramallah, Jenin, etc.
Iran is watching carefully that this time after 8 years of Hamas-Iran harrassment toward Israel with its constant rockets, mortors and grads the IDF is not hesitating to stop them and will do what it necessary to end this endless amount of terror. War sucks but sometimes necessary in order to eliminate the cancer that if it spreads will god forbid end in a mushroom cloud that will cover all of the world. No one I know wants that senario.

Thanks to both of you for good comments.
Blame should be placed where it is due.

That also bothers me. Hamas defenders are unable to admit that Hamas has committed serious crimes.

Not the history I know but hey if you feel this way so be it.

If "we'' means the US we are not fighting in Gaza.
If you want to look at breaking UN resolutions, in 1948, hours after free Israel and Palestine states were set up, Arabs invaded Israel.
There are no Israeli settlements in Gaza.
The problem is Palestine claims all of Israel. Where do the Jews go. To the gas chambers?

Paschen,
Thank you for posting that.
I will start going through comments directed at me and others who dared criticize Hamas, even though I have also criticized Israel.

An excellent comment. I agree with you.

I am not defending anyone. I am condomning hamas for promoting violence. but I condemn Israel even more for igniting all the violence in the region. I denounce Israel's occupation of people and land. Hamas only came to exist after years of occupation and oppression. Israel's intention are obviouse and need no geniuse to realize that their aim is to eventually drive out the palestinian population and confescate all the land. If their intention were toward peace they would have stopped building the Israeli settlements in the west bank and abided by the UN resolutions that made it illegal to build settlements on palestinian lands. There wouldn't be a need for violence if all the Israeli troops who are there to protect the israeli settlements were to leave and give back the land that belong to the palestinians. What really ticks me off in all this is that we are drawn into a war without even knowing it, we wonder why people in the middle east hate us and we buy the propoganda that they are all waging a holly war against us when the truth is that we are waging the war against them. All this for the satisfaction of the all mighty Israel. It's time we look after our own interest and realize that Israel is not our allies, Israel only cares about Israel. They wouldn't be spying on us if that wasn't the case!
