Some might ask; what about Hamas? Unfortunately the Muslim brotherhood-affiliated movement has consented to becoming an implement in the destruction of the Palestinian cause, and the sacrificing of Palestinian blood and the long history of armed and political struggle which led our region into long wars and which Hamas [now] wants to simply erase. Exactly. It's time to lay to rest the false idea that Hamas was "democratically elected" into power. That's only half the truth.

This is from an Arab Newspaper, one not friendly to the West.
One crime does not excuse another.
I post some stories like this because 90% or more comment and stories on NP about Gaza are anti Israel. This just points out that hamas also commits crimes against Gazans,
To be clear, Israel and Hamas share blame for the recent war and for the death and destruction caused by it.
