Israel is a secular democracy. There are obvious religious tensions within the population. But why should they care if the messiah ushers in their secular state? Israel exists, just like Iran, Canada, England, etc.

Israel is a secular nation-state based on constitutional law. To say all Israelis follow the Jewish religion is like saying all British subjects follow the Christian religion. It's a ludicrous claim.

Regarding comments about faith or lack thereof - what kind of god relies on his followers, and rewards them, for strapping on explosives and blowing up innocent women and children? You speak with pride of your faith, but I see nothing that would attract any thinking person to your god - I see no evidence of love for others or a desire to bring peace to the world, just a vengeful, self-righteous arrogance; worse, a seething hatred for humanity. No my friend, you can keep your faith, and when Moslems are ready to apologize for the atrocities perpetrated in the name of your god, perhaps then we'll talk about faith.

Israel will exist with or with out US money. That kind of arrogance blinds you to the ability for Israel to survive regardless how many people hate Israel and the Jews. In the end 3 Billion dollars in military credits is not going to stop Israel from continuing to be a Democratic force in the Middle East. But do not despair the way England is preceding you all will be praying for your lives soon enough.

It is worth pointing out to those that have not read anything I have written before that I am against the state of Israel for religious reasons, as a result of the Jewish religion that states that the jewish state should not yet exist (no messiah yet) and also due to my own faith as a muslim. I have jewish members of my family and friends of that faith also.

True, then why are you commenting to yourself? Israel is usually described as the state of the Jewish people, then it only makes sense for that state to follow the Jewish religion. If you had any faith at all I doubt you would have been so flippant regarding me helping God run the universe. Israel is a corporate entity funded by usa corp and has no basis in religion at all. Theft (of palestinian land) is a sin in any religion but seems encouraged by corporate america (and other nations).

I think they would. The founding fathers liked nothing better than blowing up a few British soldiers or passers by. destroying hotels and other terrorist (oops that only applies to the Palestinians) freedom fighter activities.
