Happy birth day to you, LTTE - Advanced Happy END day wishes too
Today world most dreaded "freedom fighters" organization is celebrating their birthday hiding behind civilian hostages. In this auspicious occasion it is everyone's duty to wish them a very busy birthday and a peaceful ending.
We must always remember that contribution this organization gave to the world in general and the terrorism in particular. One of the ever living (?) examples of such contributions is the suicide vest. Another one to speak of is the cyanide capsule.
Special message to Mr. Prabhakaran on this occasion from SLA.
"We are coming for you..! Just keep the cakes warm for us"
The LTTE was founded on May 5th, 1976 by Velupillai Prabhakaran as a successor to the Tamil New Tigers, a militant group notable for the assassination of the Mayor of Jaffna, Alfred Duraiyappah in 1975. The LTTE initially attracted many supporters among disenchanted Tamil youth. They carried out low-key attacks against various government targets, including policemen and local politicians. Initially, LTTE operated in cooperation with other Tamil militant groups which shared their objectives, and in April 1984, the LTTE formally joined a common militant front, the Eelam National Liberation Front (ENLF), a union between LTTE, the Tamil Eelam Liberation Organization (TELO), the Eelam Revolutionary Organisation of Students (EROS), the People's Liberation Organisation of Tamil Eelam (PLOTE) and the Eelam People's Revolutionary Liberation Front (EPRLF).
LTTE leader V. Prabhakaran is one of the ardent fans of the legendary revolutionary ,
Ernesto Che Guevara. So it would be appropriate to end this article with a Che quote.
"Where a government has come into power through some form of popular vote, fraudulent or not, and maintains at least an appearance of constitutional legality, the guerrilla outbreak cannot be promoted, since the possibilities of peaceful struggle have not yet been exhausted. - Ernesto Che Guevara"
