Hard Times Never Last

I would not help, but notice that with change come new opportunities, challenges and a shift in human paradigm. The fact that 80% of humanity is struggling to make ends meet there is hope and optimism that change will lift our spirits to see beyond adversity.

Last month I promised to feature great music from Blue J. Band of Soweto LIFE’s local talent pool and coincidentally Samablue Music Publishers, has a track with the title called “Hard times never last.” It is strange however, that this song reflects our common destiny and a thread to celebrate the victory of Obama in the USA elections. Soweto people share the same sentiments and hopes that the American people aspire to.

People all over the world identify with Obama’s spirit of humanity and Africa’s plight and suffering while he promises hope of a better life for all; whence his message of “change” resonates within the heartbeat of every living soul on this planet.

Now this song rocks my soul and gives me the goose bumps when I listen to it. It is obvious that the artist who recorded it might have felt inadequate or down, yet it offloads the heavy baggage that everyone carries with them during hard times.

Our planet has been reverberating with mixed feelings about the world economy and the collapse of financials systems, poverty, and food shortages, aids pandemic in the third world countries being uncontrollable. It seems everyone except evangelists and motivational speakers are the only people left to keep humanity inspired with daily doses of scriptures and wise quotes.

In the meantime individuals like me can perhaps over indulge ourselves with music and hard rock cold rhythms to keeps us sane, and this track could not have come at the right time. I love rock music and the rendition of this piece by Blue J. and his band is something soothing to the soul of my mind. Although I would be naïve to think, professional dancers would not find it fascinating I think it is danceable if you are feeling down and out.

Listen carefully to the message that these instrumental lyrics are saying and give yourself a chance to absorb it musical intonations and you will understand what I am referring to when I say, “change resonates within the heartbeat of every living soul on this planet,” therefore music heals the spirit that is open to new experiences. Enjoy your listening and give me feedback thereafter.
