Rep. Steve Kagen (D-WI) faced a “heated” discussion about health care at a town hall meeting, with people in the crowd who were heckling, interrupting, and filibustering him. One vocal attendee was a woman named Heather Blish, who identified herself as “just a mom from a few blocks away” and “not affiliated with any political party,” but turned out to be a Republican operative.
When interviewed by the local NBC affiliate, Blish insisted she was not a member of the Republican Party. “I left the party,” she said. Blish’s statements, however, are distortions. From NBC’s report:
Her LinkedIn page shows something different. She was the vice chair of the Republican Party of Kewaunee County until last year. She worked on the John Gard campaign, who ran unsuccessfully against Kagen last year. And it says she’s a part of the Republican Party for Kagen’s district, as well as the Republican Party of Wisconsin, and the Republican National Committee.

So what? Informed Republicans aren't allowed to have an opinion about this issue? BS.

Karen, I never said that. Are you blind? The story is, this Republican operative LIED and claimed to be "just a mom."
Got it?
Seriously, are you right wingers blind and unable to read the article? It's like being in a classroom with kids who eat paste instead of paying attention.

Exposed my ass. If she's had no activity with the GOP since 08, maybe she has quit the party. Doesn't mean she's quit her beliefs. And even if she hasn't, she can't have an opinion? She can't contest this tripe because she's concerned mom?
Nothing to see here, move along.

HA! She claimed she had not been a Republican for two years (LIE) and she is far more than "just a mom."
She is a Republican operative who has worked in numerous Republican efforts.
If she has kids, i feel sorry for them.

Heather Blish is a VERY impressive liar!
She stood directly in front of Congressman Kagen, looked him right in the eye, and said she was "just a mom" and not affiliated with any political party. Very impressive! Yup, no agenda, no political affiliation at all. Just a mom.
Of course, while she was explaining her VERY non-political nature to Kagen, she left out that she DESIGNED AND RAN THE WEB SITE for his opponent, John Gard, and that she is a long-time Republican Party hack! And right to his face! Yes, VERY impressive!
Her LinkedIn page says she works for Maelstrom Solutions, a web site design company in Milwaukee. Maelstrom proudly claims the Wisconsin Republican Party and SickOfTaxes.com as their customers, but at least Maelstrom DOES NOT claim to be unaffiliated with any political party.
She also says that in June 2008, she STARTED working for the Ideal Campaign, which does the web site for the Washington County Republican Party, so apparently she also doesn't count THAT as an "affiliation" either!
Her LinkedIn page also says she's a member of various Republican Party groups, but she boldly says that's not true. Maybe she's just really bad at updating web sites. So it's really unclear when (or if) she stopped being a Republican Party hack, but it sure wasn't two years ago like she angrily told television viewers.

No one ever said she did not have the right to speak or ask a question but, to out right lie is pathetic. Wow what a mom, teaching your children to lie and deceive, i would hate to see those kids in a few years. She IS disgusting.

THIS is why the Republican party has lost, and will continue to lose so much credibility.
